Site Safety Advisor
Our Health, Safety & Environment group is currently growing and is looking to add a Site Safety Advisor to the team, supporting a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) construction site in Jarvis, ON.
Reporting to the Regional Safety Supervisor, this position provides in-person support to supervisors, foremen and workers in the field and coordination of the day-to-day safety requirements on-site. It monitors, audits and reports findings and corrective actions to leadership as well as provides administrative assistance with matters relating to safety. Ultimately, it plays an important role in ensuring that Valard's safety culture has been established and adhered to in the field.
Please note: this position works a schedule of Monday - Friday; 10 hours / day based on-site outside of Jarvis, ON.
