Site Manager - Underground

Job Description

My client based in the Limpopo Province, has the perfect opportunity for an experienced and passionate Site Manager – Underground. To manage all requirements for down-the-hole / blasting service delivery process to current and potential customers in a way that meets (or exceeds) their needs and enhances the relationships.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

•Grade 12 (with Mathematics)

•Blasting Ticket (Mandatory)

•8 years’ demonstrated mini experience (including underground, blasting, blast auditing and reporting)

•Demonstrated knowledge in performing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical work

•3 years’ demonstrated experience in supervising employees

•3 years’ demonstrated experience in responsibility for managing costs

•Mine Overseer Certificate Advantageous

•ND or Degree in Mining advantageous
