Job Summary
The Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a Class 3 Side load vehicle. The Driver is also responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining the equipment.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Drive Side Load tandem truck in a safe and efficient manner on assigned routes to fulfill contractual requirements.
- Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner.
- Perform daily pre‑and post‑trip inspections of the trucks assigned.
- Check in with Dispatcher to determine departure and return times.
- Load and unload heavy materials, tools, and equipment under varying traffic and road conditions.
- Maintain telephone or radio contact with the appropriate supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
