Shop Manager – 13 Firs Parade, Matlock DE4 3AS – 30 hours per week (including weekends on rota) – £12.94 per hour plus reward and benefit scheme.
About the role
As a Shop Manager at Sue Ryder, you will lead a volunteer team in a charity retail environment, driving sales, managing stock, and ensuring excellent customer service. You will also support community engagement, brand promotion, and contribute to the charity’s mission of providing support to people approaching the end of life or living with grief.
Responsibilities
- Drive business, push sales, and achieve targets.
- Lead your volunteer team to deliver outstanding customer service to donors and customers.
- Work with the local community to generate sufficient donated stock to drive sales.
- Recruit, train, and retain volunteers, providing leadership and guidance.
- Maintain high standards of merchandising, housekeeping, and health & safety.
