Shop/Cafe Assistant
Location: Richmond Village, Letcombe Regis, South Street, Oxfordshire, OX12 9RG
Pay: £12.90 per hour
Employment type: Permanent (full time, 40 hours per week)
Shift patterns: 8:30am – 4:30pm, 5 days out of 7 with alternate weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers in a polite and professional manner
- Prepare and serve hot & cold drinks, food, and snacks
- Operate the till and handle cash/card transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the café/shop
- Replenish stock and ensure displays are tidy and attractive
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues efficiently
- Work as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
