Duties And Responsibilities

• Conducts routine inspection on‑board vessel and checks safety condition in coordination with the concerned parties and establishes immediate corrective action for the observed unsafe condition.
• Ensures the availability of fire‑fighting equipment is properly installed from shore to ship such as fire hoses, fire extinguishers, etc.
• Conducts safety and fire drills periodically to familiarize employees and the fire‑fighting team with fire‑fighting activities; scheduling shall be done in such a manner that does not interfere with the production schedule.
• Implements on‑site environment, health and safety protocols and procedures, in accordance with general safety company policies and regulatory requirements.
