This large corporation is looking for a Supervisor who can perform the following duties and take ownership in his position. They will be responsible for all areas of the Warehouse.
- Responsible to open and/or close the facility on a rotating basis along with other Production supervisors and managers.
- Develops methods and procedures for transportation of products and commodities to customers, warehouses, and other storage facilities.
- Determines most efficient and economical routing and mode of transportation. Inspects paperwork and materials received into the Shipping Department from various departments, making sure the Product description matches actual product to ship.
- Quantities listed are correct. Verify and sign waste manifests at time of pickup.
- Disburses orders and traffic tickets to be shipped to Shipping Clerks.
