Shipping Legal Counsel

We are supporting a global offshore business in the search for a Maritime Legal Counsel to join its Fleet Services legal team in the Netherlands.

This is a rare opportunity for a Netherlands-based maritime associate to move in-house into a genuinely operational shipping role, not a pure contracts review position.

The Business

Our client operates a global fleet of specialist offshore vessels and long-term charters. The legal team sits directly within Fleet Services, supporting vessel operations, chartering, marine insurance and regulatory matters worldwide.

The Role

You will work closely with an experienced maritime Head of Legal on:

• Charterparties (internal & third-party)
• Vessel build, repair and conversion contracts
• Re-flagging and registration matters
• Long-term charter arrangements
• Marine insurance and P&I claims support
