Qualifications
TheShipping Leader will actively participate in the warehouse/shipping team and offer guidance, instructions, and direction to fellow team members. They will oversee the activities of associates involved in verifying and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments, as well as preparing items for shipment. Additionally, they will manage warehouse tasks including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
Responsibilities
- Work in accordance with safety rules and actively support safety team
- Maintain excellent standards for housekeeping
- Initiate, submit, and track work orders for required maintenance and repairs
- Direct and assign workloads, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of labor versus productivity
- Conduct timely reviews of pick lists assuring FIFO requirements are incorporated and met
