SHIPFITTER SUPV II

Summary You will serve as a SHIPFITTER SUPV II in the Production Resources Department of PSNS and IMF. Responsibilities You will plan work assignments on an immediate and long range basis in accordance with schedules of priorities which are established by higher level management. You will determine manpower, tooling, material availability, machine capabilities, and the methods to be used. You will analyze work schedules, assignments, production costs, methods of operations and assigning work to subordinate supervisors in order to maintain a balanced workload, meet deadlines, increase efficiency and reduce cost. You will assure that subordinate supervisors effectively carry out policies in labor management and equal employment opportunity. You will participate with higher level management in discussions on workload, budget, acquisition of plant and minor property, training and other management related areas.
