Job Description
The Role
As a Shift Supervisor, you provide retail services to a unique client base – members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). You handle customer concerns or complaints to ensure customer satisfaction, authorize refunds, voids, and returns, and hold keys, safe combinations, and access codes. You open and close the store as required and supervise employees.
The Shift Supervisor may also provide a variety of other retail services, including regular retail services, dry‑cleaning, lottery services, self‑serve gas services, and postal services. You operate Point‑of‑Sale systems, the debit/credit machine, and maintain a float. You may take and prepare food and beverage orders and prepare takeout food while ensuring cleanliness of food service and eating areas.
