Contract: PermanentSalary: This role will be paid from 32,715 to 42,000 depends on skills and experienceAs a Control Room Operator, youll work within the Wastewater Control team as the first line of defence in identifying and responding to operational issues across our wastewater network. This is a critical role in safeguarding our customers from flooding and protecting the environment from pollution.
As part of our System Operations team, youll oversee the performance of over 366 sewage treatment works and 7,000+ pumping stations across London and the Thames Valley. Youll use cutting-edge monitoring tools and collaborate with field teams to respond to alarms, prioritise risks, and coordinate urgent responses.
Please note this is a secondment role for up to 12 months.
