Position Description
Position Summary
The Sheet Metal & Structural Welder is responsible for the fabrication, ?t-up, welding, and repair of sheet metal and structural steel components in accordance with applicable American Welding Society (AWS) standards, including AWS D9.1 Sheet Metal Welding
Code and AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code - Steel. The position requires the ability to interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and Welding Procedure Speci?cations (WPS) while producing high-quality welds that meet company and customer requirements. AWS D9.1 governs sheet metal welding applications, while AWS D1.1 covers structural steel welding requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), FCAW, and SMAW welding processes as
required.
