The SHE Specialist is responsible for assisting the Safety, Health & Environmental Manager (“SHE”) for the Yorkton complex with technical support, oversight, and providing process safety management support. Also responsible for supporting the informational needs of the complex. This position works with minimal direct supervision, must be self-motivated and detail oriented.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Assist in the development, implementation and review of Safety, Health and Environmental policies, programs and procedures for the Yorkton complex to achieve and maintain compliance with all applicable SHE laws and regulations at the federal/provincial and local levels.
- Assist with the development and implementation of strategies to achieve and exceed company goals and expectations for injury reduction and lost prevention.
