Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years Degree in Ultrasound or 2 years B-tech in Ultrasound that allows registration with HPCSA as an independent Sonographer.
- Proof of current registration with HPCSA.
- Sound knowledge of musculoskeletal and general ultrasound.
- Knowledge of quality assessment procedure, computer skills, leadership skills, excellent time management skills, written and verbal communication skills, and report writing.
- Honesty, integrity and a high work ethic.
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
- Knowledge of Public Service legislation, policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of current DoH guidelines and public governance to the health sector and radiography profession.
- Knowledge and relevant experience in radiographic procedures.
