Your Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Worker I (SWI) position within the Alberta Kidney Care – North (AKC-N) program. A Regularized Relief Service Worker I supports the staffing needs of AKC-N for vacant shifts due to planned or unplanned staff absences. You will support the relief staffing needs at 3 or 6 sites. Flexibility to meet the ever-changing relief needs of the program is essential in this position. The Service Worker I assists nursing staff in maintaining a hygienic, well-equipped and safe patient care environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing and cleaning hemodialysis equipment for patient use, restocking all bedside supplies, transporting patients, blood specimens, charts and supplies, as well as performing other duties as assigned.
