Service Engineer - Rail Vehicles & Equipment

Responsibilities

• Maintain a specialist fleet of rail vehicles and associated equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
• Diagnose and repair faults on-site and across the wider UK rail network, using detailed schematics and control diagrams.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault rectification, ensuring root causes are addressed to prevent recurrence.
• Work within depot-based activities, live rail infrastructure, and outdoor locations in all weather conditions.
• Participate in a shared standby or on-call rota, providing technical support outside normal working hours. ...
