About Our Client Senior/Lead Estimator - ICI - Ottawa
Our client is a well known and well established ICI focused General Contractor focusing mainly on Corporate and Institutional new builds.
Job Description Reporting to the VP of Estimation, the successful candidate will be involved in the overall leadership of the estimating department. You will successfully track down project leads turning them into bidding opportunities, solicit pricing from trade partners and develop detailed budgets and competitive bids and proposals in order to meet the objective of continued and sustainable growth of the Company.
Responsibilities
Recommending and implementing winning tendering strategies
Developing mutually profitable, long term business relationships with project partners
Qualifying bidding and prequalification opportunities
Analyzing project risk and implementing risk mitigation strategies
