Lac La Biche County seeks an experienced Senior Utility Operator to manage the municipality’s water treatment, water distribution, wastewater collection, wastewater treatment, and storm water collection systems while ensuring compliance with provincial standards and effective staff management.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water treatment, water distribution, wastewater collection, wastewater treatment, and storm water collection systems in accordance with provincial guidelines.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as compressors, pneumatic hammers, cut‑off saws, grinders, electronic fusion machines, mobile steamers, backhoes, loaders, and hydro‑excavators safely and efficiently.
• Assist the supervisor with maintenance procedures and schedules.
