Senior Underwriter Energy
Senior Underwriter Energy driven to generate and underwrite new business in the Engineering & Construction sector with a focus on Renewable Energy. Based in Madrid, reporting to Head of Energy Europe.
The opportunity
Role includes generating and underwriting new business in Southern Europe, maintaining broker/client relationships, and expanding footprint in Renewable Energy sectors such as Onshore Wind, Solar Photovoltaic, Mini Hydro and BESS.
What you’ll be doing
- Underwriting and growing the Energy & Construction book of business profitably within the risk appetite
- Establish, develop, and expand broker and customer relationships
- Underwrite Construction projects (EAR, CAR) and Energy business ensuring appropriate analysis and documentation
