We are seeking a Senior Group Tax Accountant to join our Group Finance team, reporting directly to the Head of Tax.
This is a critical role acting as an in-house taxation specialist across income tax, GST, FBT, transfer pricing and tax-effect accounting, supporting compliance, governance and strategic decision-making across the Bapcor Group.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring the integrity and timeliness of tax reporting, while also contributing to process improvements, business growth initiatives and acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate Australian tax compliance, including income tax returns, BAS/GST, FBT and transfer pricing filings
- Support international tax compliance across New Zealand, Singapore and Thailand
- Prepare tax-effect accounting (IAS 12) for half-year and year-end reporting
