Expertise and Functions
+ Perform technical analysis related to systems design and development
+ Conduct tasks associated with systems engineering life cycle and the DoD design review process
+ Utilize model-based systems engineering (MBSE) techniques
+ Support systems analysis (e.g., discrete event simulation) with simulation techniques
+ Follow, perform, and record the results of the execution of a test plan
+ Exercise judgment to make recommendations on technical alternatives, component design or selection, and/or adaptation to meet assigned requirements
+ Proficient in technical writing including white papers, customer deliverable documents, etc.
+ Collaborate with leadership at all levels
+ Lead technical reviews and meetings, internal and external
+ Perform duties under supervision of staff and chief engineers
+ Mentor less experienced engineers
