Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Process specimens and prepare samples for all departments.
• Train and mentor new and existing staff on specimen processing techniques and protocols.
• Participate in quality initiatives, monitoring and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with couriers, laboratory technicians, pathologists, and others to facilitate efficient specimen processing to meet client expectations regarding quality and turnaround time.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives in collaboration with leadership.
• Assist with enterprise initiatives, special projects, and other duties as assigned.
