Senior Software Engineer - Marketplace

Overview

You will champion best practices within the engineering team and serve as a mentor to the team. You will report to the Sr. Engineering Director.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and architecture of major components in our large-scale distributed backend service, creating new features and updating existing ones
• Build server-side systems that deliver new functionality within the larger Digital Platform
• Work with product managers to reduce technical debt associated with legacy systems through innovation and automation
• Work with customers and business leaders to understand customer needs and deliver incrementally on their highest priority features and requirements
• Spend 40-60% of your time hands‑on coding

• 9+ years of experience in software engineering
