Senior Social Worker – Child Protection Team (Wakefield)

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a Local Authority in Wakefield, for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join their Child Protection (CP/Court) Team. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with strong, up-to-date Child Protection experience who is confident working in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Wakefield
Contract: Initial 3-month, ongoing contract
Pay Rates: £35 per hour; Umbrella £30.79 per hour; PAYE (inclusive) £27.48 per hour; PAYE (exclusive) £27.48 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload including complex and statutory work
• Undertake assessments, planning, and reviews for Children in Need, Children subject to Child Protection plans, Looked After Children
