Senior Social Worker - Child Protection Team (Wakefield)

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a Local Authority in Wakefield, for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join their Child Protection (CP/Court) Team.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate with strong, up-to-date Child Protection experience who is confident working in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Wakefield

Contract: Initial 3-month ongoing contract

Pay Rates

• £35 per hour – Umbrella
• £30.79 per hour – PAYE (inclusive)
• £27.48 per hour – PAYE (exclusive)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload including complex and statutory work
• Undertake assessments, planning, and reviews for:
  • Children in Need
  • Children subject to Child Protection plans
  • Looked After Children
