Senior Section Engineer Location: Polokwane / Pietersburg Company Sector: Mining Seniority Level: Management Reporting to: Engineering Manager Type: Permanent Duties and Responsibilities: Provide leadership to the engineering department, including mechanical, electrical and maintenance teams. Ensure compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act and engineering legislation. Fulfil responsibilities of the appointed 2.13.1 Engineering Manager, or be eligible for appointment. Develop maintenance strategies to maximise equipment reliability and performance. Manage engineering budgets , capital expenditure and continuous improvement initiatives. Drive asset management and lifecycle planning for optimal plant performance. Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with standards. Partner with production teams to achieve business objectives.
