Hays Education are working in partnership with a weing and well-regarded secondary school in Wigan to recruit a dedicated Science Technician to join their science department. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times available to suit the successful candidate, which can be discussed further upon registration. The role is available for an immediate start or from September, depending on availability, and offers the potential to be a permanent position for the right individual. The school is seeking someone with previous experience in a Science Technician or similar laboratory-based role, although they would also be keen to hear from experienced Science Teachers who are looking to step away from classroom teaching and move into a technician role while remaining within an educational environment.
