Kemin is seeking a highly motivated Senior Research Associate to join our Shanghai R&D team. This role focuses on molecular biology research and strain development to support innovation in enzyme and biotechnology platforms. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise and a solid foundation in gene cloning and transformation.
Responsibilities
+ Design and execute molecular biology experiments including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR/qPCR, cloning, plasmid construction, sequencing analysis, and gene expression studies.
+ Perform microbial genetic engineering using techniques such as CRISPR/Cas systems, homologous recombination, and transformation.
+ Construct and characterize recombinant strains in bacterial and fungal hosts.
