Senior Remote Sensing Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Develop imaging products for end-users from Muon's infrared imaging missions
• Research, design, and implement scalable algorithms for image mosaicking, orthorectification, and radiometric normalization
• Act as product owner for critical customer-facing imagery products
• Author and maintain technical and customer-facing design documents
• Engage with customer technical stakeholders through meetings and program discussions
• Write production-ready code for data product pipelines and operational services
• Ensure scientific quality and quantitative validation of Orthomosaic Tile products
• Work cross-functionally with software, calibration, and instrument engineers

Requirements

• PhD with 3+ years of industry experience, or MS with 6+ years, or BS with 8+ years
• 5+ years of experience building geospatial data products from remote sensing data
