Senior Regulatory Reporting Specialist

Responsibilities

• Key contributor to the production, completeness and accuracy of all regulatory reporting. Interprets rules and regulations, ensures that reporting follows guidelines. Manages the internal and external credit reporting for the credit union.
• Researches and interprets accounting standards with respect to how they relate to regulatory reporting and works with senior finance management, to ensure regulatory reporting complies with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Maintains the regulatory control framework, researching new regulations or guidance. Documents overall process that ensures the integrity of regulatory reporting.
• Develops and implements new procedures to enhance workflow of the department; monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
