Job Description
A hands-on quality role for someone who wants more influence than simply checking paperwork.
You’ll support the Technical Manager, lead the Production Quality Checker team and help move the site from a QC-led approach to a stronger QA culture.
The role
Manage the Production Quality Checker team.
Maintain and improve the site’s Quality Management System.
Support compliance with BRC, ISO 9001, customer and regulatory standards.
Assist with HACCP, audits, complaints and non-conformances.
Identify training needs across the operation.
Support product assessments and NPD projects.
Deputise for the Technical Manager when required.
About you
You’ll have quality or technical experience within food manufacturing, with a strong understanding of HACCP, BRC and factory QMS.
A Food Science degree, HACCP Level 3 and Food Safety Level 3 are required. Lead Auditor experience would be beneficial.
