Job Description

Our large Oil & Gas industry client is seeking a Senior Python Developer to maintain and build solutions based on business requirements using Visual Studio and SQL.
This is an initial 6-month contract with a possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be based in Calgary and aligned to working full-time onsite in Downtown Calgary.
Must-Haves:
5+ years' of strong Python programming development and scripting experience
3+ years' utilizing Visual Studio 
2+ years' utilizing SQL for data analysis 
2+ years' experience working in a corporate environment interacting with business stakeholders (outside of IT department)
Nice-to-Haves:
R Programming skills
Experience utilizingMicrosoft Azure Data Productssuch as:Azure Data Factory, Logic App, Azure Data Lake
Trading and Risk Management Experience
Experience working with the Agile methodology
