Overview
We are looking for an experienced Protection Settings Engineer to undertake protection studies and apply settings on new‑build and brown‑field substation projects across New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, scope, design, and deliver protection settings projects for new and existing substations.
- Perform protection studies and apply settings in line with Transpower standards framework.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and client stakeholders to ensure technical deliverables meet project objectives.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for project deliverables.
- Support learning and professional development within the team.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in protection settings engineering, preferably in a consulting or asset ownership environment within transmission or distribution sector.
