The role

Own day‑to‑day purchasing and supplier performance while keeping inventory healthy. You’ll run RFQs, negotiate terms, keep data clean, and tune MRP parameters so production gets what it needs—on time, at the right cost, and to spec.

What you’ll do

• Source & select suppliers for one-off and ongoing categories; run structured RFQs and compare total landed cost (price, lead time, terms, freight, QA).
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment/incoterms, and delivery commitments; track PPV and cost-down actions.
• Manage vendor performance: keep an AVL, scorecards (OTIF, defects, responsiveness), and drive corrective actions.
• Plan demand & inventory: maintain MRP parameters (ROP, EOQ, safety stock), review slow‑movers/aged stock, reduce expedites/stockout...
