As part of the AJISS Coastal Support team, the Technical Specification Writer will support the Royal Canadian Navy Arctic and Offshore Patrol Vessels (AOPV) and Joint Support Ship (JSS) class vessels managed by Thales under the AOPS & JSS In-Service Support (AJISS) contract. The incumbent is accountable to the Resource Manager – Coastal Support and responsive to the Coastal Engineering Services Manager. The role involves writing specifications and Statements of Work (SOWs) for corrective maintenance for various systems and equipment, ensuring Class Societies and objective quality evidence (OQE) are captured, and coordinating with ships staff and Fleet Maintenance Facilities (FMF) work centers.
