Job Description

Job Title: Senior Payroll Officer

Full Time: Office Based Job

Experience: 01 - 02 years in UK based firm, specifically in payroll field

Education: Minimum Masters

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and processing of weekly and monthly payrolls using payroll software (BrightPay).
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new starters, leavers, salary changes, and deductions.
  • Process statutory payments such as Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), and Statutory Paternity Pay (SPP), etc.
  • Support pension administration, including auto-enrolment, pension contributions, and submissions to pension providers.
  • Ensure payroll data is accurate and submitted within required deadlines.
  • Assist with the submission of Real Time Information (RTI) to HMRC.
