Responsibilities

• Reviewing/assessing the developing SSN-AUKUS Submarine design to ensure it is safe, operable, and habitable by its crew. This includes attending design reviews, reviewing the 3D CAD model, reviewing design documentation, participating in experimental design and user trials, and providing design guidance and sharing of SQEP knowledge.
• Providing specialist support to safety activities (e.g., HAZID, HAZOPS, ALARP optioneering workshops).
• Supporting the Operating Documentation Production Authority in derivation and verification of OPDOC documentation.
