As a Senior Metallurgist, you will report directly to the Site Manager at the Touquoy mine, one hour northeast of Halifax. This position involves implementing safety practices, overseeing budgeting, and ensuring gold production targets are achieved. Your expertise in metallurgical processes and leadership will be essential in driving operational excellence and mentoring plant staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and maintain safe work procedures within the department
• Oversee TMF Operation, Maintenance, and Surveillance Manual
• Produce daily, monthly, and annual metallurgical balances
• Monitor production trends and optimize metallurgical KPIs
• Train plant personnel on best practices and methods
