Role overview

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Mott MacDonald Bentley, you will contribute to major water and wastewater schemes throughout all project phases—feasibility, design, construction, commissioning, and handover—within the UK water market.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design of water and wastewater infrastructure and non‑infrastructure projects through outline and detailed design, construction, commissioning and handover, including P&IDs, valve schedules, pump calculations, safe access and lifting arrangements, and above‑ground pipework layouts.
• Coordinate with the project team comprising Electrical, Civil, Geotech and Process designers to ensure designs are completed on programme, within budget, and meet quality specifications.
