Job Description
Take charge of maintenance planning with Kinross at the Great Bear Project in Red Lake, Ontario. The Senior Maintenance Planner will focus on developing safe and effective maintenance schedules.
In this role, you will report directly to the Mine Maintenance Lead and coordinate maintenance plans that promote reliable operations. Key responsibilities include building the CMMS, maintaining detailed preventative maintenance plans, and collaborating across departments to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build the CMMS for mine maintenance
• Develop preventative and corrective maintenance plans
• Create long-term maintenance forecasts and schedules
• Ensure work orders are fully planned for execution
• Collaborate with departments to improve performance
Requirements:
• Degree in Mining or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years in maintenance planning, ideally in mining
