Overview
Brainhunter is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a contract role with one of our valued clients.
Engagement type: 1-year contract. Style: Hybrid (2–3 days per week onsite in downtown Toronto). Pay rate: $65–$70 per hour. Client: TD Bank.
Responsibilities
- Join the client’s payments team and work on high-value, mission-critical applications for a major bank.
Qualifications
- Total hands-on experience required: 10+ years.
- Must-have skills: Java 21 or higher; Spring Boot or higher with strong understanding of Spring Boot Starters.
- Unit testing: JUnit 5 and Mockito (mandatory).
- REST APIs, Microservices.
- Maven and Git.
Certifications (Strongly Preferred)
- Oracle Certified Java SE 21.
- Spring Certified.
- Qualified (2024).
