Senior Instrument Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee instrument design and provide ongoing follow-up.
• Serve as the technical authority for vendor packages.
• Design, review, and monitor vendor deliveries to ensure compliance.
• Provide input for and track the system design of equipment packages.
• Perform discipline checks on technical drawings and documents.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and vendor surveys.
• Produce comprehensive engineering work packages.
• Manage multi-discipline interfaces, collaborate with the site team, and conduct site surveys.
• Actively participate in technical reviews and project meetings.

Required expertise

• Bachelor's degree or a diploma from a Technical College in a relevant engineering field.
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience from large-scale modification projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
