Senior Informix Developer

The Core Systems Informix Developer is a key member of the Core System Team, responsible for contributing to the delivery of functional objectives, always modelling the Post Office behaviours, and demonstrating a Postmaster and Retailer first mindset.

The Core Systems Informix Developer will support and maintain a complex, bespoke, 24/7 financial system processing approximately 36 million transactions per year. This is a hands‑on role requiring deep technical expertise, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently within a very small team.

They will work closely with development teams in maintaining ongoing system performance, reliability, and the successful delivery of releases and work closely with key business stakeholders to deliver agreed project work, ensuring outputs meet defined requirements and are completed within committed timescale.
