The Role

An exciting opportunity at University Hospital Hairmyres Medicine for the Older Adult service: generic support worker to provide ongoing rehabilitation for older people while in hospital. Working as part of the multidisciplinary team, duties include:

• Working under the supervision of registered occupational therapy & physiotherapy staff to assist patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement treatment programmes within the in-patient setting for individuals / groups of patients.
