Senior Functional Safety Engineer - FUSA

Job Description

The position, which reports to the Functional Safety Supervisor, has the following main objectives:

• Supervise and support technical topics for safety related to both running projects and RFI/RFQs (Request For Initiation/Quotation) (Mainly systems).
• Ensure safety technical compliance and safety package for both running projects and RFI/RFQ; perform RFQ Gate Review and cost estimation.
• Lead and manage the Functional Safety team in EU and Rabat.
• Ensure lean safety release for production.
• Lead the adoption of safety culture at Lear from a technical perspective.
• Provide functional safety consultancy services to other departments and projects.
