Job Description

We are looking for a strong backend and cloud engineer with deep experience in IoT and distributed systems who wants to shape and scale modern cloud-native platforms.
You will design and evolve IoT and cloud architectures at OBI Smart Technologies Poland, working across device communication, telemetry processing and automation workflows. You act as a technical driver within the team, contributing to architecture decisions and ensuring scalable, secure and production-ready solutions across AWS environments.
Your key responsibilities include:
Design and develop scalable backend services using TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS and Fastify within distributed systems.
Lead the design and evolution of REST APIs using OpenAPI standards and robust validation and versioning strategies.
