Senior Estimator – Rail Infrastructure, Civil Engineering

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction cost estimates for rail and civil projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications and technical documents to ensure estimation accuracy
• Perform quantity take-offs from plans and BIM models
• Develop unit rates for labor, equipment and materials
• Analyze historical data and conduct market benchmarking
• Collaborate with internal teams and partners to optimize bid strategies
• Actively contribute to proposal preparation for large-scale projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or a related field
• 8+ years' experience in estimating for rail infrastructure and heavy civil construction
• Deep knowledge of rail systems and track construction methods
