Overview
A growing industrial construction firm is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead cost development across piping, equipment, and facility-based projects within the upstream and midstream Oil and Gas and infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate estimates from drawings, specs, and bid packages
- Perform takeoffs for piping, valves, equipment, and structural components
- Build labor models using production rates and crew structures
- Identify constructability issues, risks, and scope gaps
- Evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotes and support bid strategy
- Collaborate with operations and engineering to validate execution approach
- Prepare cost summaries, proposals, and estimate documentation
- Manage multiple bids and support project handoff
