Scottish Power Energy Networks are looking for a Senior Engineer to join them on an ongoing contract basis.

Position Details

• Role: Senior Engineer – Layouts
• Business: Scottish Power Energy Networks – Manweb
• Duration: 12‑month initial contract with a scope of extension
• Location: Prenton / hybrid (flexible)
• Rate: Inside IR35 – PAYE and Umbrella options available
• Hours: Full time, Monday – Friday

Profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self‑motivated 132 kV Substation Layout Senior Engineer with a strong background in AIS substation layout design and HV switchgear. Excellent AutoCAD skills and strong communication skills are required to work well within a team. Knowledge of relevant National Standards such as ENA and NG Technical specifications and the ability to apply them to achieve a substation design to SPEN specifications is essential.
